Dr. Phillip Olla

Founder & CEO

An AI education specialist and innovator, and Associate Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy. As Founder and Executive Director of the Center for Augmenting Intelligence, he created StudyAid and Scholar AI to bring AI-powered simulations, adaptive learning, and custom knowledge assistants to education. His award-winning curriculum design work includes the Progressive AI Learning Integration Framework (PAIL) and the SPARRO Framework, and immersive discipline-specific learning for healthcare, business, and community training — recognized nationally, including with the AACN Innovation Award for AI-based nursing simulations.
