Students will reflect on their personal values and experiences to create a digital “Tree of Moral Courage” using the Study AI’D Image Creator tool. The tree will include various elements such as foundational aspects (Soil), life experiences (Roots), personal attributes (Trunk), challenging situations (Branches), received courage (Leaves), and acts of courage
(Fruit).

Understand the concept of moral courage.
Reflect on personal values and experiences related to moral courage.
Create a visual and textual representation of your moral courage.
Utilize AI-driven image creation tools to digitally represent personal reflections on
moral courage, integrating technology with personal introspection and creative
expression.

1. Introduction to Moral Courage:
● Begin by reflecting on the readings of moral courage, particularly in healthcare. Consider the importance of going within to understand your values and experiences before acting courageously in challenging situations.
2. Outline Your Tree of Moral Courage:
● Plan your tree by considering the following elements:
● Soil: What foundational elements in your life give growth to your practice of moral courage?
● Roots: What life experiences provide a strong foundation for your moral courage?
● Trunk: What personal gifts, talents, and values support your ability to practice moral courage?
● Branches: What situations and circumstances challenge you to exercise moral courage?
● Leaves: How have you received moral courage in your life?
● Fruit: In what specific ways have you offered moral courage to yourself and others?
3. Create Your Digital Tree:
● Use the Study AI'D Image Creator tool to design your "Tree of Moral Courage."
● Use the AI Image Creator tool to design a visual representation of your "Tree of Moral Courage."
● Text-to-Image Prompt: Input descriptions for each part of your tree (Soil, Roots, Trunk, Branches, Leaves, and Fruit) into the Image Creator tool.
● Customize Your Tree: Adjust the settings to reflect your personal experiences and creativity. Ensure that each part of the tree is visually distinct and representative of your reflections.
4. Integrate Text Descriptions:
● Alongside your digital tree, include brief 80–100-word text descriptions for each element (Soil, Roots, Trunk, Branches, Leaves, and Fruit). Explain how each part of the tree represents your experiences and values related to moral courage. Do NOT use the AI to generate text, add this to your image after. It will be a lot easier to use PowerPoint ppt to add the text to your image.
5. Submit Your Assignment:
● Combine the digital image of your tree and the accompanying text descriptions into a single document or presentation.
● Submit your completed assignment through the designated Blackboard link.
